Prof. Fabio D’Andrea teaches
Sociology at the University of Perugia since
1999. He has some years of professional and
academic experience, that includes
professional development and academic teaching
of traditional disciplines, such as General
Sociology and Sociology of Culture, as well as
more contemporary ones, such as Sociology of
Sport, Sociology of the Body and Sociology of
Everyday Life. He is an innovative teacher and
author of publications in Italy and abroad.

Italian Innovative and
Interdisciplinary Perspectives on
Education and Development
The symposium means to
showcase the interdisciplinary network of a
group of researchers – mostly professors in
the Department of Philosophy, Social and Human
Sciences and Education of the University of
Perugia – focused on developing new complex
education strategies that make use of several
forms of knowledge and self-awareness.
Emotional intelligence, craftsmanship,
corporeality are thought to be essential
components of an innovative blend of skills
required to cope with contemporary reality.
