INVITED SYMPOSIUM ABSTRACT
Digital Education:
successfully integrating ICT in the school
system...or not?
Promoting the use of ICT in
school is among the first priorities of the
Europe 2020, EU's growth strategy for the
coming decade. The symposium intend to
explore the keys factors of a successful
integration of the ICT in the school system.
This includes the dematerialization of the
administration system as much as the
transformation of didactic practices. What
characterize the best practices? As for the
experiences of failure, when the introduction
of innovative hardware and software has not
lead to real changes in the ongoing practices:
what are the reason for ICT under-use? What
are the main obstacles encountered, and how
can they be overcome?
